Breaking it down is a site which explores a wide variety of topics I either am passionate about or what to know more about. Sometimes humorous, attempting to be informative and wildly opinionated I unwrap subjects which aren’t typically touched upon and offer up ignored angles. I am interested in alternative ways of thinking and embracing connectivity. That might be with yourself, your peers, nature the universe or your pet. Anything that makes you take a step back from the day to day and momentarily absorb the human experience.
I have been writing for the past five years and had a brief stint writing short articles for Strike magazine in 2013. Writing has helped me to compartmentalise the thinking process, develop profound ideas and fizzle out the fickle. The built environment, finance, human behaviour, books, war, culture, music, movies and science will be frequently dissected. As I write I learn more about myself, my two cats and the world around me.
Discussion is important for progression and I encourage anyone who reads this blog to comment or contact me if interested. You may agree, disagree or even dislike what is being said but your opinion is definitely of value.
