Many black women are upset that black men who get into interracial relationships vocalise the negative traits that they’ve attributed to black women and as a result justify their choice of non-black partner. Plenty of celebrity black men who the general populous hold so high in regard, have publicly spouted their disdain for black women saying such things as they’re; unattractive, poor, loud and aggressive. A lot of this comes from men who are already comfortable referring to women in general as bitches and hoes, so that should say something about the person holding these abhorrent views. Colourism is a hot topic in social circles these days, with plenty of ‘celebrities’ landing themselves in hot water because of their negative opinions on darker skinned people. Through the historical searches of social media platforms, these ‘celebrities’ have been found out to have said derogatory things about dark skinned people, specifically darker skinned women, and now they’re being chastised for it. It turns out they’re not so quiet after all, but one of the good things about having two cats is that they have each other as company. When I got the cats home, they’re roughly ten weeks old, I set up the spare room with their toys, food, toilet, water etc and slowly introduced them to the flat to not overwhelm them. Human Rights Watch defines an honour killing as ‘An act of vengeance, usually death, committed by male family members against female family members, who are held to have brought dishonour upon the family.’
Recently in Kingston Upon Thames an Indian Muslim teenager involved in a relationship with an Arab man was kidnapped, raped and murdered. She was found stuffed in a fridge with her throat slit and another female was also kidnapped and raped but escaped. Two men have been arrested and will appear at the old bailey on 21st of August.
There’s no honour in kidnapping.

The most common age for young girls to start wearing make up in this country is 11yrs old. It seems that society these days has an unhealthy obsession with beauty and appearance. We are bombarded on a daily basis by airbrushed images of models on the TV, radio, magazines & newspapers so I can understand why this creates a warped perception of beauty in many people’s minds. Children exposed to this pick up the insecure vibration levels and jump on the slap stick band wagon to clown looking town. Now there’s nothing wrong with a little make up, but imagine a world where looking like Katie Price isn’t what young girls aspire to. Imagine picking up a magazine and seeing Kelly Brook embracing the beauty of her human flaws.
I saved my kittens and I don’t think they care
We named her KitKat.
Well, my mom named her KitKat and she was a well known cat in the area.
She was a very well known cat actually.
In fact she was such a popular cat she’s had her third litter of kittens in a year, and expecting another soon. She’s a sweet cat but tough like Phil from Eastenders. I’ve seen her scrap with other cats, defend her kittens against dogs and use her cunning cat behaviour to gather food by any means necessary. I had a barbecue at home last year and after an evening of fun, food and fireworks we settled down for an alcoholic beverage or twelve. Ok, so there were no fireworks, but during the evening I began to hear faint squeals coming from next door and decided to investigate then…
